He had no interest in being in the town and had even less interest in the pokemon that was rumored to be around the town and Endric was in the market for a little bit of exercise for Ivalice. She was beginning to get antsy back in his room and as much as he preferred to not have his favorite pokemon in battle she had continued to insist she had more than enough gusto in her. [break][break] While he walked with a touch of worry for her still on his face the pokemon was doing as she always did, acting like a little kid play pretend. She was sneaking in and out of in between objects and trees in an attempt to sneak up on the target or perhaps she was mimicking spies off of some spy movie she'd seen the night before. Endric was never 100% certain what the pokemon was up to but he didn't stop her. [break][break] She motioned for him to hide next to a wall with her and while some might have denied her the little moment Endric chose to humor her, standing up next to it as though he were hiding, waiting for her to give him the signal that it was okay to keep going towards whatever she had spotted and decided they needed to be hiding from.

Endric snuck a peak around the wall at whatever Ivalice might have been going on about, seeing what looked liked a vendor packing up shop for the day. Ivalice promptly insisted that he get back behind the wall and they would wait to see what happened next. Even his sigh was met with frantic waving for him to shush up and wait. [break][break] Sometimes he wondered why he humored her like this, there was no denying he spoiled the pokemon but sometimes it made things that should have have been a hassle into one. Luckily for him as soon as the vendor had moved along she motioned for the two of them to come out of hiding. [break][break] She was already out at the spot the vendor had been in when he moved, having waited an extra moment in case she changed her mind. Ivalice was holding up a berry, likely left behind on accident by the vendor as he moved shop. Endric went ahead and pocketed it for later use and gave Ivalice a pat on the head. Waiting around had made for something good after all. [break][break] It took all of 2 minutes of walking for her to start ducking behind objects again.

It didn't take long for them to find the thing they were actually in the town for, of course they both ended up hunched against the trunk of a large tree while it was feeding because Ivalice was intent on it being a surprise attack. Both pokemon and trainer alike grimaced at this thing though. In all honesty it was probably one of the ugliest things Endric had seen. He didn't understand why people would want something like that. [break][break] At least he and Ivalice agreed and with a nod the battle plan went into motion. Endric didn't have much to do in it of course because he wasn't there to do battle Ivalice was. He was just there just in case. [break][break] She started out with a poison sting, as she was fond to do. The bug didn't seem too pleased to be interrupted but it wasn't like Ivalice was going to stop there, she'd use poison sting all the way up until the pokemon was poisoned or better. The bug responded by trying to fly around the tree and use aerial ace. [break][break] Ivalice, believing herself to still be a spry young thang, jumped at the last second to get on the back of the bug and strike a pose. She had watched way too many actions movies lately. While the bug was still flying she shook out some stun spores on its back, waiting for the wings to get caught in the paralysis and ground the bug and hopped off before it could make a crash landing. She went to check the crash site and shot a couple of poison stings at the bug again just to be on the safe side, it rolled and tried to smack her with a night slash but all it took was a couple more poison sting to have it down for the count. [break][break] In a matter of moments she was at Endric's feet with stars in her eyes because that was totally cool right? He laughed and gave her the praise she was looking for before suggesting the scope out the rest of town and see what they could find.

He rolled his eyes at the greeting and grimaced at the pokemon, they were both atrocious to look at but Ivalice was fired up and ready for battle so he might as well let her get her work out in for now. Would keep her entertained awhile so he wouldn't have to worry about entertaining her later. [break][break] The enemy pokemon was apparently a bit full of himself because he Ivalice put her roses on her 'hips' as soon as he started chattering and Endric rose a brow. She chittered back ever so sassily and the two had a bit of a verbal arguement for a moment before ivalice quite angrily shot off a couple of poison sting at the enemy pokemon. It retaliated with a quick attack but soon found that to have been a mistake when Ivalice shook out a bunch of stun spores when it made contact. That would show this guy! And it did, as they were so close it was impossible for the bugger to avoid her spores and she seemed as smug and happy with herself as ever. For a moment the enemy pokemon seemed to do nothing, but it was focusing its energy instead. She tilted a head at it though before shooting a poison sting just to see, and stung it did. Poisoning the enemy pokemon. It moved in for a rolling kick, making contact but not in full force as the stun spores took effect again. Ivalice responded with a bout of mega drain and the fighting type fainted. [break][break] The teacher seemed dissapointed but Endric wasn't about to stick around and listen to her. He scooped up Ivalice and wandered off with her in his arms. She looked up at him and started to poke his face with her roses, wondering why he looked so grumpy allasudden.

Next thing Endric knew there was a person at his shoulder with a magnifying glass and it took everything he had not to have a disgusted look on his face over it. The old man was way too close to him for his liking but one was to be polite and respectful of their elders. What a load of shit. [break][break] The man had an oddish, this was of little worry to endric though annoying seeing as he was hoping to give Ivalice a workout but the effect of her first Poison sting revealed there was a bit of a level gap here. That was fine by him. The oddish tried to use absorb but it really didn't do much good. Ivalice shrugged and used her stingers again, looking kind of... bored to be honest. [break][break] The sweet scent it used might have enticed Ivalice to go a little closer but the poison stings she used afterwards really weren't good for the little plant. When it fell over fainted she just kind of srugged and gave the old man a bored look again before skipping down a nearby path. Endric chose to follow.
