He had never really had family, or perhaps he should clarify. Both parents died before he could even remember them and he was on his own. In order to survive it was stealing, and the worst thing was he was good at it. That was what made it stick to pheonix, oh yes.. it should be noted that the kid never actually received a name so it was his choice to name himself pheonix braith. If he was going to be abandoned he was going to use a fierce name and let people know he was here and he wasn't going to fall over and die. As he grew he only became more of a criminal as things got worse and he found that he hated being tied down.

Soon there was a reason he took the name pheonix, not because of the red he wore but because of the blood that he spilled with his own two hands. He became a assassin for hire with a blade he had taken from the corpse of someone he had killed. From that point on he couldn't stop killing, working for different gangs and continued what he did for the pay and because.. well it was the only thing he could do. It was during these travels that he met a woman who was also bound deep in the work he was. She was the only one he made friends with, and after a few missions together with her he found life wasn't as hard of a burden as he thought it was.

It was however that he was betrayed by the same place that had hired him and she was sent to murder him to make sure he would never tell anyone of them. It was only thanks to their friendship that they made a pack. It was in this way that they faked his death together and he disappeared from Hoenn where they were based continuing to travel. It was in this way that he met someone else a young girl that he began to take care of. It was probably the first time that he felt like he was useful for something, except as a criminal. For the first time he thought of giving it up, instead however the opposite would happen. Someone seemed to recognize him and in the night came for him but hit him in the worst possible way. The young girl was murdered and Pheonix couldn't save her.

It took a heavy toll on him and he could never forgive himself. After burying her he left once again finding that he would never be able to be close to anyone again because he didn't deserve that. He also wished to seek atonement for what he had done finding that his conscious was heavy of all those who he had killed. The search brought him to orre, where he is now trying to remain at a low profile to perhaps find at least a temporary place to call home.
