[attr="class","mdh-v2-info-main-text"]
When a pokemon is swarming in an area and you're interested in catching it all you need to do is make a thread in the area that is clearly labeled SWARM much like a mod thread would be labeled MOD and post in the mod request board to have someone spawn something for you. For the most part these threads will be run like a mod thread but with a handful of extra rules.
[break][break]
These threads do not count towards your mod thread limit as they are significantly shorter than normal mod threads.
[break][break]
Swarms are swapped over on saturdays every 2 weeks, if you don't complete the thread by the saturday it ends on it will be autoclosed regardless of whether or not you got the pokemon.

Swarm rules
Swarm rules
[attr="class","mdh-v2-info-main-text"]
- All swarm threads must be in the designated swarming area, this thread must be labeled 'swarm' in the title
- You may only have 1 swarm thread up at any given time
- You may only capture the swarming pokemon once (it will also only spawn once)
- If you chose to duo thread a swarm you will only spawn 1 of the swarm pokemon
- If you duo thread a swarm and one character is a researcher and the researcher's perk activates spawning an extra pokemon said pokemon must be caught by the researcher.
- All swarm pokemon are auto spawned on the 5th staff post if it was not spawned earlier in the thread
- Swarm threads may always be played out until the 5th staff post even if the swarm pokemon spawns earlier. After said fifth staff post the thread will be autoclosed.
- In the event that the last spawn you have prior to a swarm thread autoclosing was an item you may keep the item even if you were unable to post.

Keep in mind, just because a pokemon has swarmed does not mean it will never be seen again, just don't expect to see it back to back or anything!
