NOTES: swarm thread TO SEE THE DARKEST PART OF ME Information had reached his ears that something rather interesting was appearing in Pyrite Town. The information broker had come to the place more than once before, it was his kind of scene after all. There were so many thugs and bad guys that the town was overridedd by them. Today however, he wasn't here to stir up trouble, no instead he was going to find this pokemon that everyone was talking about. Today he would use Venus instead of Venom to give the bug some training considering it had a long way to go before it was ready to evolve and he wanted to evolve it, oh did he.
"Now if I was a fire dog, where would I hide?" he hummed to himself before casually walking through the town with his hands in his coat pocket. It made the researcher hum a bit as he felt his right hand circle around the familiar switchblade in his pocket, if anyone tried to mess with him they would be in for a lot more. NOTES: awakenings TO SEE THE DARKEST PART OF ME The informant had only gotten so far into pyrite before he had the unfortune to watch some swimmer guy run directly into a wall. The man's face went flat and maybe even a little chuckle came from his throat at the sight. Honestly if he didn't want to run into the wall then he shouldn't have been on his phone doing whatever it was that he was doing. Instead it seemed like he had caught Ian in the middle of his laugh and called him out on it. 'Hey if you have time to be laughing at me then you have time for a battle." he said.
Ian sighed a bit but he guessed he didn't mind a battle so with that venus moved forward as the guy sent out a staryu that looked really weak. Honestly, this guy should have sized up his competition better than he had. "You will lose." he said absently and started the battle. "Harden then Tackle." the swimmer yelled. How impatient.. Ian sighed and didn't even seem bothered by it. "Venus Defense Curl, then Rollout." he said. The bug curled up stopping the tackle and hitting directly into the stars gem with the first rollout as it continued to stay in its ball spinning around the area. "Hit it with a Tackle!" the swimmer called again.
While the second tackle did hit it just set up venus to hit the staryu harder with the second rollout as she simply got faster and faster. With each hit it took more health and within a few moments the staryu was unconscious and venus had barely a scratch on her. "I told you .... figure out your battles better and where you are going." he said as he started to walk away so the swimmer could tend to his pokemon. NOTES: sneeaasseeellll TO SEE THE DARKEST PART OF ME While that battle had been annoying it seemed that he had managed to find something that was rather interesting. While he was looking in Pyrite for the mutt, Sneasel seemed to show up lost in the city itself. Now that was something he could catch and be happy about. "Venus, we want that sneasel." he said before motioning to it. Venus moved forward but didn't hesitate when her trainer told her to attack before the other pokemon was ready. "Screech then Rollout." he called. The venipede responded screeching at the sneasel which caught its attention and the rollout hit right on habit. The sneasel took the attack hard and glared some at the poison type pokemon. It quickly launched a quick attack back which hit hard as Venus rolled around before attacking again.
The battle continued back and forthe between the two pokemon before Damian grabbed a pokeball from his side and tossed it at the sneasel. Venus moved back now hoping that the pokeball would hold the dark type pokemon. He would have to check out what the sneasel did later when he wasn't busy hunting this pokemon. The growlithe however seemed to show up now at the sound of battling sniffing around where they had been fighting. The informant sighed now and looked at the fire dog. "Growlithe, I'm going to catpure you." he said with a sly grin before grabbing a new pokeball. Venus moved forward even though this pokemon was stronger than Venus.
"Let's handle this quick, Venus Screech then Poison Point." he said as the bug quickly responded screeching and attacking the little dog. The poison seeping into his body and Archer hoping the poison would take part. The dog seemed to limp some as fire started to come from its mawl. "Venus!" he called as the bug quickly tried to spin away and only got a little bit of a burn but nothing bad. The pokemon couldn't move well so maybe that was enough. "Venus come back!" he said as the pokemon retreated throwing the pokeball to try and capture the fire dog.
