Everything was ready. Now all that was left was getting August ready for the ride out to the canyon. Alastair let her out of her pokeball and checked her saddle and bridle before focusing on her legs. He had to check her over for any wounds or damage and had to carefully inspect her hooves and shoes.
Alfredo watched him for a short while before she turned to wander away, but not too far. It could take a while for Alastair to finish his prep before traveling. The bonus to that was that he was quick at getting where he was going. He wasn't a very efficient packer considering he shoved everything into a bag and called it good, but he knew how to get places in the least amount of time possible.
During her wanders, she came across a disc. She picked it up and brought it back to Alastair. He was too focused in his work to really noticed, so she slipped it into the part of his bag that he kept the other disc. Alfredo made sure all the bags were firmly latched before she returned to Alastair. They would depart soon, but she had a bad feeling. Then again, whenever Alastair went anywhere she had a bad feeling.
