Long ago, the region of Orre was a place of untold danger, where two groups: Cipher and Snagem, wished to rule the region through the power of shadow pokemon. Pokemon who's hearts had been closed and were used as machines to fight rather than as partners to the trainers who caught them. These groups were defeated by courageous young trainers who wished to free pokemon from these fates and restore peace back to Orre. That peace has lasted many years and perhaps has done more bad than good for the region of Orre. With so much peach, how will the region react to the rumors of Cipher returning once again? The peace has been a blessing indeed, but with peace always springs a new enemy that wishese to destroy it once again. Which side shall you choose in this endless struggle between peace and chaos?

She was starting to get sick and tired of this blasted place. She'd heard rumors about Orre but none it had prepared her for all of this fricking sand that she just couldn't seem to get away from. If it weren't for the fact that the pay day waiting for her back in Hoenn was impossible to ignore she might have said fuck it by now and let it all go. The guy was desperate for that stupid sculpture though. Maiya had been hoping with the casino around she could find some high end players and maybe one of them would have what she was looking for.
No dice.
She was already on three months scouring the place and was starting to run out of areas to look at. With little else to go on Maiya decided it was time to go let off a little steam, she hadn't spent enough time of dealing with the pokemon she'd gotten before she arrived in Orre nor the one she'd managed to steal just after getting there. Idiot leaving his booth unattended and all that.
"Which of you little shits is first?" Maiya picked the pokeball blindly and kept her hand on the pokeball while she roamed around the edge of Realgem Tower's terrain, she needed an easy target.

"Fucking hell." really? she goes looking for a fight and some little shit decides he wants to pick a fight with her? What? Was this because of her height? (She 4 foot 8 btw, or 142cm)
"Hey go play with some other little shit will you?" she would have walked away but then the little tubing twerp (wtf did he even have a tube for? seriously it was a damn desert) went and flipped her off and Maiya was not the kind of woman that took that kind of shit from adults let alone some little shit that apparently thought he was the king of the hill. "Fine you wanna play you little brat I'll show you playing."
No one ever said she was good with kids.
Maiya went ahead and released her Vulpix and almost laughed when the little shit let out an Aron. This little twerp made no sense and had some pretty horrid fashion coordination didn't he?
"Doll 'n' drop 'em Meryl." the Vulpix responded by immediately responded by giving the other pokemon a set of big ol' eyes and watching its determination for battle drop at the sheer cuteness of the fluffy little shit. Then she tried to light the nuisance on fire with an ember before it could catch on to her ploy.
"Hey that's not fair!"
"Everything's fair in the real world you little shit! Better pay attention before you lose your pokeball too." Maiya didn't play fair, especially with little shits. Sadly once the Aron got over the whole 'oh no my ass is on fire' part it retaliated with a headbutt that her Vulpix was none too happy to receive but luckily the baby-doll eyes had done their job and the aron just couldn't bring itself to put full force into the hit..
"Whip 'n' hit" it was all about knowing how to combo stuff up right after all. The Vulpix made a quick spin to tail whip the aron, effectively lowering it's defense a little before following up with a quick attack too fast for the aron to handle. Then again it was being trained by a little kid who apparently didn't even know you can't go tubing in the fricking desert.
"Hit that stupid fox harder!" the aron took the cry as a command to hit with a metal claw. "No dice." the Vulpix knew better and used her quick attack to dart out of the way before something like that could hit. "Slow poke" Maiya had a smug grin on her face to say the least and the kid was obviously getting frustrated.
"What that all you got twerp?"
"HEADBUTT HEADBUTT HEADBUTT"kids
The aron came in for another head butt and maiya gave her pokemon the nonchalant command to get out of the way and retaliate with another ember. When the Aron tried to come at her again the Vulpix didn't have to time to dodge but sure had the time to quick attack back at it. When it tried yet again to headbutt her the Vulpix responded with another case of ember. The aron didn't make another headbutt attempt.
Maiya motioned for her pokemon to follow as she walked away from the crying little twerp to find an actual opponent.
She wasn't too heartless though, she at least let the next responsible looking adult she found know the kid was back there crying because he decided to mess with the wrong person today.

Well at least this chick looked like she belonged in a tower with a friggin casino in it. Better than the little twerp with a stupid inner tube (who even let the little shit come near this place again). Maiya might have chatted with the woman if she hadn't opened her mouth first and shown how snotty she was.
"Ew, what's a street rat like you doing out here? Go back to like, Pyrite town or something."
"Excuse me?"
"You hear me, if you won't go on your own like, the easy way then well, like I'll just have to make you leave okay!?!"
And then she sent out a lotad. Lotad, with its stupid face and water typing and the look on Maiya's face could be read loud and clear as 'really? really?', she was looking for a real battle not a waddling lilypad. While she was sure she could get some use out of throwing her Vulpix at it she decided it was a better idea to try and work out that little ralts instead. A quick swap out and the Ralts was happily out for battle and swaying in place while waiting.
"Psyshock." It was the only attack move the pokemon and knew which was honestly arceussent seeing as it wouldn't have have an attack move otherwise. Easier on her. The Ralts did as it was told quite happily and the lotad seemed to greatly dislike the effects of the attack. Her Ralts simply kept swaying in the wind.
"Like, astonish them or something!" the lotad did just that and the Ralts even let out a little squeak of surprise! Before responding with another psyshock that was.
"Like. Oh. My. Arceus! Don't looooooooose! Growl at it!" the lotad did as it was told and Maiya sighed, the lady didn't know what she was doing did she? At least not really. The growl lowered her pokemon's attack sure but that meant little against a psychic pokemon like Ralts. "Psyshock, this is a waste of time." Her ralts did as she was told and that last Psyshock was enough to cause the lotad to faint.
Maiya left the snotty fashionista to freak out over her poor little loty while she tried to find something, anything, that was actually worth her time.

The next guy to get in her way left Maiya raising an eyebrow. The heck was that hairdo? Was he trying to relive his edgy punkass teenage dreams or something? Sure looked like it to Maiya. Why in the world would anyone do that to their hair otherwise? She was actually about to ask when the he didn't even say anything to her, just released his pokemon.
Grimer, really, she expected more from this place. It was as bad as everywhere else she'd been in her life and she was starting to get a little tired of it.
"Alright Sylvia, Psyshock. This shouldn't take long." The Ralts glided over, swaying side to side as she went and came short, dropping a psyshock on the enemy pokemon, unlucky for them it was super affective thanks to the typing going on on the field. Unlike the other chatter boxes she had dealt with this guy got quiet and just seemed to let his pokemon decide.
The grimer made the choice to sit and harden, which oddly enough was actually a good choice on their part with how psyshock worked but that wasn't a worry to Maiya, that last battle had been enough for the pokemon to learn a new move.
"Confusion." her ralts let loose another psychic typed move and the grimer took it hard, it wasn't something that was going to be hard to beat after all. By the time the grimer tried to close the gap and go for a pound attack it was too weak and weary from the use of psychic attacks against it to move all that fast. Her Ralts quickly glided aside and responded with the last confusion attack that would fell the pokemon
"Thanks anyway." at least the guy tried. She'd find someone else to take her stress out on.

Of course some rich little shit wanted to prove his snottiness to her now to, Maiya wasn't even surprised at this point. This bound to be an easy battle, she wasn't worried in the slightest. All the boy had to show for his entrance so far was a silly little surskit that she was quite certain her Ralts could make quick work of.
"Make quick work of it Sylvia." her ralts trilled, happily, a sound that earned a sideways look from Maiya as the pokemon blasted the surskit with a psyshock before returning to its happy little sway. Maiya was not aware a Ralts could apparently trill when happy.
The enemy surskit took the blast pretty hard, skidding back at the blow before using its quick attach to dash back in. While he Ralts tried to move aside the past battles where starting to ware her down and the attack hit well enough. The Ralts responded with a confusion attack. The surskit tried to retaliate with a set of bubbles but the Ralts used her psyshock to burst the bubbles before they hit, the wave continuing on to hit the surskit, at this point it did not get back up.
"Well done Sylvia-" she was in the middle of praising her pokemon when the rich little snob released another pokemon with an angry yell. "You'll pay for that!"
The magnemite that was released earned a laugh out of Maiya. A boisterous laughter even.
"Alright Meryl go have some fun." She didn't even bother with much of a command as she swapped out her pokemon and the Vulpix wasted no time with a quick attack, moving far to fast for the magnemites sonic boom to hit. As soon as she was close enough the Vulpix used ember, the now fiery Magnemite attempted a tackle but even as it connected it meant little to the Vulpix. All it took was one more quick attack and she watched the silly little magnet fall.
"Better luck next time idiot." Maiya shrugged as she walked away, her pokemon followed behind her full of pride at a job well done.
