Long ago, the region of Orre was a place of untold danger, where two groups: Cipher and Snagem, wished to rule the region through the power of shadow pokemon. Pokemon who's hearts had been closed and were used as machines to fight rather than as partners to the trainers who caught them. These groups were defeated by courageous young trainers who wished to free pokemon from these fates and restore peace back to Orre. That peace has lasted many years and perhaps has done more bad than good for the region of Orre. With so much peach, how will the region react to the rumors of Cipher returning once again? The peace has been a blessing indeed, but with peace always springs a new enemy that wishese to destroy it once again. Which side shall you choose in this endless struggle between peace and chaos?

Maiya was actually pleasantly surprised when she saw the solrock float out in front of them. She quite liked the pokemon and while she was pretty satisfied with her current team she had to admit she was pretty interested in the pokemon. "Taking that one home too logan, don't be an ass." the mudkip did not seem pleased by those orders but its not like he had much of a choise did he? [break][break] The mudkip moved forth to battle and gave a very half hearted water gun, actually it didn't even reach the wild pokemon that's how half hearted it was. Maiya tsked him and the solrock just sat there and stared. It wasn't until the mudkip tried again and actually reached the wild type that it responded, with an burst of angry flames from a fire spin. NOt that the mudkip really cared of course but that was beside the point. Logan simply used his water gun again and the pokemon tried to throw some rocks at him. Logan was not pleased by this and with a murpy battle cry of little mudkip ferocity his next water gun had a little extra gusto, knocking the sun right out of the air. [break][break] it lay there on the bottom of the ship glaring at the world above it. Maiya threw a pokeball. Logan made everything weird. She wasn't actually that big of a fan of swinubs. It wasn't like they were bad or ugly they just weren't her favorites. They were a good ice type though so maybe it could be a good backup member? Or a good breeder pokemon. Better than nothing. [break][break] "Bring it home Logan." [break][break] Logan leaned his head back, opened his mouth wide and there were no words for the sound that came from him after that. Maiya stared at him as he kept making it and even the wild swinub turned to them, its attention caught. [break][break] Oh Arceus what was this thing's problem? [break][break] As quickly as the sound began it ended and the mudkip lunged forward at the wild pokemon with a barrage of frustrated mud slaps, he was ready to make his dominance as the water and ground type of this team known. The swinub made a slew of startled sounds before calling down a layer of powdery snow on the mudkip. He did not have time to care about that now, instead he tackled the furry thing and watched it roll away. He didn't want the thing anywhere near him. When it back on its feet it began to call down the snow again but her mudkip was always far ahead of it, using the new move it had learned. Bide. [break][break] The swinub made the mistake of using a mud slap of its own. [break][break] With a victory cry her mudkip released the pent of energy built up from bide and the swinub fainted. Before anything else could be done Maiya threw a pokeball out to the wild pokemon. [break][break] "What the hell is your problem logan!" She snapped as she turned to the angry looking mudkip who was now glaring at the rocking pokeball. [break] logan weakened swinub[break] capture attempt made[break] logan will be swapped for mason/growlithe

Maiya wasn't getting an answer from the mudkip, rather he just kept staring at that stupid call as it rolled and dared to maybe make that swinub come with them. He hated that idea. Amindst this staring and annoyance the mudkip started to glow and in a moment changed form. [break][break] "Oh Arceus." [break][break] All anger the mudkip, or well, marshtomp held dissipated and he returned to his usual, derpy stupid face. He stood up on his hind legs, though perhaps that wasn't so unusual in this form and turned to look at maiya. He stared at her for a moment before testing out his voice, ensuring he could still murp. [break][break] Satisfied the pokemon started hopping around in a circle. completely forgetting about the pokeball that now held a new member to the growing crew Maiya was accumulating. She retrieved Logan's ball and returned him to it before he could bring the place down with his hefty hopping and murping. [break][break] For the sake of ease she released her growlithe Mason while she murmured to herself about that stupid pink fish with clams and what she'd be doing with him once she gto back to the inn. She returned to rummaging around the ship, Mason helping her snoop. She was too busy ranting to herself over Logan to rejoice over her fire stone and pokeball find, she'd enjoy them more later. Before long Maiya felt a tap on her shoulder, a young boy who had apparently seen her pull out her egg earlier and was curious about it due to it looking a little different from any other eggs he had seen before. She took it out to show him, explaining it was a Vulpix egg and that's why it had the markings that it did. He seemed pretty excited and they had a nice little chat about the egg and how she dabbled in breeding. The kid seemed pretty interested and afterwards asked if she'd battle with him before he went home. Maiya agreed as she returned her egg to its pouch for safe keeping. [break][break] Maiya was a little surprised when the boy ended up having a Swablu, explained how he made it that far out without any problems. She released Mason feeling like it was time for him to get a little bit of practice in. [break][break] The flyer swooped in for a peck attack but before it could contact Mason jumped up to bite its beak, making the bird back off and reassess swooping in again, this time to try and astonish Mason. The Growlithe was a bit smarter than he tended to let on though, leer at the bird as it swooped in before jumping up for another well timed bite to its wing. This one hurt more than the last. The bird tried to come in with peck again and Mason repeated the attack of before, leering as it came in and when it was close enough jumping up to bite at it. It didn't take long for the swablu to wind up fainting. [break][break] Afterwards Maiya had a little talk with the young boy, showing him how his pokemon had status moves he should have made use of in their fight and how to try and do that next time he battled. The boy happily jotted down some notes before running off to head back home. Maiya waved before going back to ransacking the ship. mason defeated swablu [break] egg mention[break] mason out

Once the boy was gone Maiya hunted down one of the sticks of metal she'd been using as a crowbar like item and went to pry open another one of the rusted over cabinets that hadn't already been broken into. This was mostly the stuff that was on the floor of the ship and was now too far above most people for the to be reached easy. Maiya climbed the side of the shit and its rubble to reach them. [break][break] The x-speed she found wasn't too remarkable but the shiny stone was worth taking with her even if she never ended up using it. She could always trade it off one day if she didn't get her hands on a petilil or something that she wanted to use it on. [break][break] Making sure everything was situated right, maiya returned to scouring the ship for loot. Back to looting[break] mason out
