Long ago, the region of Orre was a place of untold danger, where two groups: Cipher and Snagem, wished to rule the region through the power of shadow pokemon. Pokemon who's hearts had been closed and were used as machines to fight rather than as partners to the trainers who caught them. These groups were defeated by courageous young trainers who wished to free pokemon from these fates and restore peace back to Orre. That peace has lasted many years and perhaps has done more bad than good for the region of Orre. With so much peach, how will the region react to the rumors of Cipher returning once again? The peace has been a blessing indeed, but with peace always springs a new enemy that wishese to destroy it once again. Which side shall you choose in this endless struggle between peace and chaos?

She wanted to see the thing first hand, just out of curiosity. Maiya despised boats, they weren't something that appealed to her but they were supposed to be in water. Then again that was exactly why she despised them so much and this one wasn't in water. She could stomach being around it for awhile but she was genuinely curious how in the world it could end up in the middle of the desert. The region wasn't big enough for it to have been lost at the bottom of a river or lake, at least from what she had seen so far and because of that she doubted it have been sunk and then became visible when the terrain turned to desert. [break][break] Oh well, it didn't seem to be covered in algae or anything water related so she might as well explore the stupid thing. Maybe she'd find some useful stuff stuck in some of the cabinets or something. [break] maiya will only be using three pokemon for this thread[break] Logan out

Maiya was trying to break into a cabinet that had rusted shut. It took a little bit of effort but she wasn't one to say no to a challenge and after finding a piece of metal she could wedge in like a crowbar. She got it jammed in a crease well enough and curled around it like a koala. With a bit of a rocking motion she used what little weight she has to crack open the cabnet. With enough effort it work and after rummaging around the cabnet she walked away with another pokeball with a stone, good enough. She moved on. [break] no battle[break] Logan out

Next thing shew new something just kind of used out of another cupboard. Slugma's were far from her favorite fire type and she wasn't really sure she wanted to bother capturing it. As far as she knew it wasn't really a popular pokemon and wouldn't do her any good. At the same time she needed pokemon though. It firgured the first thing she'd see here would be a slugma. "Logan, you decide." [break][break] Leaving the decision to the odd little mudkip probably wasn't the best option but since she couldnt' decide this time around she thought it might be better. If Logaqn had a little mercy she'd catch it, if he didn't well at least he'd be a little better... trained. Trained wasn't really a good word for the pokemon but it worked for now. Just as Maiya thought though he started things off being just as odd as he always was. Once out of his ball he bunny hopped his way over to the wild pokemon and murped at it in hello. [break][break] The slugma seemed to tilt its head in wonder at the mudkip and the mudkip tilted his head in turn. The two sat there for a moment, heads tilted at each other. Maiya threw up her arms, left them to do whatever they'd do and went back to trying to pry open another cabinet and see what was in it. [break][break] While Maiya was busy rummaging through the cabinet she'd open, she sat down on what seemed like a mostly stable piece of the ship and pulled the vulpix egg she'd ended up with out of its bad to sit in her lap for a bit while she watched her pokemon well, have a staring contest with a wild one. What was wrong with her mudkip? Better not to ask. She doubted there was an answer she liked. [break][break] They stayed that way a little too long for Maiya's liking and she put her egg away so she could go back to rummaging, completely ignoring the fight that would soon break out behind her. The slugma made the mistake of blinking first and Logan made his decision- she was weak. While her eyes were closed he used water gun right in her face and that simply secured Maiya staying out of it on this one. [break][break] The slugma was startled and franticly looked around for things to use rock throw with and throw at the mudkip but he seemed unphased by the objects that belted him, he was far too busy with the incredibly loud murp he was letting out that was roughly a cry of 'WEAK!' and Maiya just turned the whole thing out, prying open yet another cabinet with her egg hanging off her back. The poor wild pokemon was rather startled about it all at this point and tried to defend herself with harden. Once the murping was over Logan simply showered the fire type in another water gun and if the poor thing wasn't crying before it probably was now as it hardened and tried to throw rocks at him again. [break][break] Logan's next water gun was more than enough to defeat the poor fire type and he left her to do whatever weaklings did, bunny hopping his way back to where Maiya was busting open another cabinet, each hop paired with a murp. He plopped his butt down below her with another murp and waited for her to be ready to move on. [break][break] "No slugma huh?" [break][break] "Murp" Logan shook his head, no weakling slugmas for them. [break] egg mention (vulpix)[break] logan has defeated Slugma; no capture[break] Logan out

Maiya broke open another cabinet while her mudkip sat around murping and telling her all about the battle he'd just had with the wild pokemon and about how the slugma just wasn't strong enough to be one of them. It was worth mentioning that the cabinet she was breaking into was on the floor of the ship which with the way it was in the desert meant that it was well above her head and she had to hang off the metal bar she was using to pry it open to begin. It worked and she had to hang there while she rummaged through the cabinet. It produced a couple of items that she threw into her bag before dropping to the bottom of the ship, more or less again. "Alright we'll find someone you can get along with, com on logan" and off the pair went. [break] no battle done[break] Logan out

Why in the world was there a cat in the middle of a desert hiding in a ship wreck? This entire scenario made absolutely no sense. Then again it wouldn't have been the first time Maiya was in interesting circumstances like this. [break][break] "We're taking this one home, don't argue with me." she had to say it before the mudkip could say anything. He would have argued, she could tell by the look on his face. He seemed to be relustant to go easy on anything, perhaps he was spending too much time with sylvia. [break][break] Seeing as he had commands to not go too hard on the thing he was feeling very grumpy as he hopped up to the cat. It pawed at him. Big mistake. The mudkip landed the mud-slap right across that pretty kitty cat face. Hard. The cat made a sound of distress before growling up at him, he didn't care, he slapped it again. If this thing was going home with them it would know its place right here and now. It was not going to be on their main team. This time the cat turned around and bit at the mudkips fin/leg and quickly found even that wasn't in good favor with the mudkip. His water gun went right in its face and it backed off, glaring at him before trying to come in with a scratch attack. The mud-slap that followed hurt and the two pokemon went into a bit of a stand off, staring each other down. [break][break] Maiya took the opportunity to throw a pokeball at the wild one, better to do it now before her mudkip went too much more gungho, and while it was still distracted. "You're an ass logan." he wiggled his head at her, still looking grumpy about the meowth coming home with them. [break] logan weakened meowth[break] capture attempt made[break] Logan out
