Long ago, the region of Orre was a place of untold danger, where two groups: Cipher and Snagem, wished to rule the region through the power of shadow pokemon. Pokemon who's hearts had been closed and were used as machines to fight rather than as partners to the trainers who caught them. These groups were defeated by courageous young trainers who wished to free pokemon from these fates and restore peace back to Orre. That peace has lasted many years and perhaps has done more bad than good for the region of Orre. With so much peach, how will the region react to the rumors of Cipher returning once again? The peace has been a blessing indeed, but with peace always springs a new enemy that wishese to destroy it once again. Which side shall you choose in this endless struggle between peace and chaos?

The place was so full of people, all sorts of people going every which was. Such a thing was so very interesting to the man, how these people flocked and skittered about almost like a bunch of bugs scattering at the sight of a shoe. [break][break] "Huh." [break][break] It wasn't like this was his first time seeing this sort of thing it was just something he found interesting. Then again people could be very interesting things on their own, let alone when there were many to be found in the same place. He couldn't help but make a note about this place being perfect for an attack from a certain group. That was beside the point, today he was looking to simply find some company somewhere. [break][break] A blue head of hair caught his attention in the crowd, such a thing was usually a sign of an interesting person. Without further ado Endric walked up right beside this person, standing quiet for a moment before commenting. "Lotsa people huh?" The guy's face looked familiar to him. "Wonder if there's an event going on or something, seems like quite the crowd. Or is it normally like this?" he gave the other a look of question. Endric wasn't really expecting an answer but he'd take one if he got one. [break] Eustace Jones hope this works for you ouo

Realgam Tower.
This was the very location when the end was said to have taken place. Four bodies, two on each side of a grand arena and taking part in a battle of total silence.
Eustace could remember the last time he read and saw such an event. The papers from every region had the event on the front cover, and the videos were made with such quality that one could feel something sinister on one end. The lights are flickering. The lights are back on. He was grinning from ear to ear, staring down at the image taken from a helicopter that recorded the event for a live viewing.
He was still grinning from ear to ear inside his heart, as he walked among the masses with the same paper in his hand. Eustace was here for here entertainment. Though this building was made out of pure sport to lure the rich and enthusiastic, even those down on their luck had hope. Sure, he had money, but nothing to spend it on. And, of course, those days were over but, a little gambling never hurt anyone if they knew when to quit.
There were a fair few heads about him, surrounding him simply to avoid becoming part of another crowd. His hands brushed past men and women, pushing them away to make a beeline straight for the mobile platforms. "Lotsa people huh?" Eustace growled, turning his head to the source of the voice. A scowl began to grow then fade; his lips turning to a straight line as he looked on ahead, spotting the platform becoming full. It'd be another couple minute's wait before he'd be able to board.
"Wonder if there's an event going on or something, seems like quite the crowd. Or is it normally like this?"Fucking hell... The kid was right, to be honest. With a slow inward breath, Eustace rubbed a side of his face and let it out.
"Yeah, they're hosting a tournament or some shit. I was hoping to take part, but these damn morons are crowding everything. Took me an hour just to get inside..."
And in that hour, nobody was hurt.

Growly one, wasn't he? How quaint. Perhaps another time Endric would have laughed but for now he kept that notion to himself. There was little sense in losing it in this crowd, and besides the growly ones always made for fun conversation. [break][break] "Really? Huh, never knew. Do they hold it often?" Endric's attention was on this blue haired man, if for no other reason than to be sure he wasn't lost in the crowd. "Or is it just a seasonal thing and that's why there's so man people?" a short glance over the crowd as he continued to play the dumb tourist, if the Orre region even had tourists. His eyes settled back where they had started with an expectant look. [break][break] A cog clicked into place in his head as he realized why this face was familiar, though he hadn't expected to stumble upon another of Cipher today he wouldn't deny the opportunity to play nice with one. He didn't recall anything particular about the man though, only that he'd seen his face around the building and on a file or two. He'd determine the worth of giving him further attention by the end of their talk. [break] Eustace Jones

"Really? Huh, never knew. Do they hold it often?"
From what he knew, the Tower only gained attraction after the region was put into a total state of calm. Tourists came every week, or so said the radio hosts. Events like this, however, were probably a little more special. ""Or is it just a seasonal thing and that's why there's so man people?" Eustace could only shrug at the kid.
"I don't know. I only heard about it just yesterday. I was on my way to Phenac, but I can't ignore a fight, and especially in a place like this." One could consider it a pit stop of sorts.
The Tower functioned more like a hotel lobby at ground level, with small rooms at the entrance proper and the platforms leading to a more wide-cast area. There was a shop and a restaurant, and that's all one really needed to rest and recover. Sure, a proper place to rest was nice, but Eustace would make do.
Now that he had a moment to really think...
There was something about the kid. His clothes were a little too fancy, and his hair was even more weird. Only small glances were made to him as he talked, and only a complete look was given as the crowd began to die down, with a majority of them opting to sit and wait for the platform to return.
His hands found the pockets of his jeans, his thumbs sticking out to settle inside his belt loops. His smile remained as he looked around, more than likely scouting for any opponent he could fight.
Three seconds, and he returned his eyes to the kid, looking down at him. "What about you? If you don't know what's going on, why are you here?"
The first thing he said seemed to allude to it, anyway.

"Ah, one of those types." it didn't surprise him that the guy wouldn't turn down a fight. He gave off that sort of vibe, that could be both a good and a bad thing. At least he would be eager for battle though he would hope the man had some level of impulse control on such things. He'd keep an eye on that. [break][break] Endric stepped closer to the man, not too close but if they were going to chat they might as well be standing next to each other. "Just looking around, first time here anyway." He rubbed the back of his neck as he looked around a bit, seemed like the place was just getting more full. "Not from around here to be honest. Haven't been here long either. Guessing you have though?" [break][break] His attention returned to the guy with a grin. To be honest he wasn't sure what else he expected from this little chat but at least the guy seemed to be sociable enough. [break] Eustace Jones this feels short, sorry

"Ah, one of those types."
Bloodthirsty? Nothing but a brawler's mind, speaking after punching? Sure as hell seemed like it. Yet, to an overly observant type, Crocodile's sudden lack of a smile was curious. Eustace just shook his head and waited, seeing if the kid had something else to say. "Just looking around, first time here anyway. Not from around here to be honest. Haven't been here long either. Guessing you have though?" The neck rub seemed out of place, but his looking around just prompted a slight shrug from Eustace.
"Yeah, I've been here once or twice. One was a school trip and the other is right now."
The kids were all excited, getting to see what the inside of the most well known Colosseum was like. They were shown videos that had a bunch people dressed up as the heroes and villains, and took part in an epic Pokemon Battle. Of course, they were missing one crucial bit of it all. The machine on the main kid's arm, and what it could do.
It was really all Eustace could think about. The papers he researched out-of-region when he was older, the information he had to collect... They all pointed to a very specific device whose purpose was either lost, or just never talked about. As a kid, it tore him away from really learning. History lessons excluded it, simply because oral tradition wasn't enough- it pissed him off.
If given the chance, and if the Tower was a little closer, he would've snuck in. Maybe he wouldn't have found anything, but that was curiosity for you.
"They say the best part about this place is the history. Some sort of epic battle happened here, and my class was given the chance to learn about it.
Well... I say learn, but being accurate about that shit is a pain. Nobody really knows what went down here, and if someone does they're probably long dead by now."

Endric listened rather intently as the man started talking about the history of the place, it was one of the few topics in this region that really caught his attention. His home region knew little of the place, everywhere else just swept everything that happened here under the rug, even with his status and his family's connection with books it had been difficult to find anything about the place. "Hmm..." He wondered how true any of this was, it made for a great story but the place was a mess and it was hard to determine what was story and what wasn't. [break][break] "Interesting, even if its just a myth those kinds of things have to start somewhere right?" He glanced at the other with a friendly smile. He was proving useful to some degree at least, it was something Endric would have to look into later. He had a feeling he wouldn't find a whole lot about it though, just like everything else about this region. He couldn't blame them though, they had enough on their plates just getting through the daily grind let alone trying to record or investigate their own history. [break][break] With a quick look around Endric started moving forward to through the crowd again, he was getting tired of standing around. "So, you gonna keep standing there or are you actually going to do something?" he looked back over his shoulder at the blue haired guy. In all honestly Endric wasn't expecting to be followed or anything of the like it just seemed silly for them to just keep standing there and let the crowd hove by. "Interesting, even if its just a myth those kinds of things have to start somewhere right?"
Now there was a topic Eustace didn't care much for as a kid. Mythology was mostly fantasy invented by the people to give reason and shape to their land and, by extension, their beliefs. Some believed in a God-Pokemon that gave breath to three serpents and, in turn, they carved time, wove space, and bled antimatter.
The world was born and then came the three aspects of humanity: emotions, knowledge, and willpower. This God-Pokemon then carved a world and gave birth to one being that moved continents after having been shaped by another. The names of these beasts were forgotten by Eustace, though still remained in some books he carried, albeit in a riddle-esque form.
Even with this in his mind, it was not the sort of myth this man was speaking about. A tale of a hero confronting evil was known in every region. Whether it was a prodigy or some street rat, someone rose to the occasion. Sometimes it was willingly or just along the way to a personal goal. The videos and books led to both, but there was one mention of it having been a rebellion.
No... A Revolution.
Was it? What was the point of joining the bad guys in the first place then? Did that kid get sick of it all? Eustace spat at that concept and shrugged it off, claiming it as a recent tale that helped shaped the land of Orre to what it is today.
"So, you gonna keep standing there or are you actually going to do something?" Eustace snapped his tongue against the roof of his mouth, removing his hands to cross his arms. "Tch.
Is there really anything better to do? I'm about ready to give up on the damn viewing since I lost my chance." Maybe there was a place to sit. Without a watch on him, he had already forgotten the time, and the bottoms of his feet were starting to hurt. That being acknowledged, standing on a moving platform might've been just as bad.

He chuckled. It wasn't often that such a thing wasn't a well done act with him but this was one of those rare moments where he'd found some genuine amusement in another person. He couldn't quite place what it was about this guy he liked but Endric was finding this one to not be so bad. AT least for not, they'd wait and see how long it lasted. [break][break] "If that's the case" Endric turned to face the man. "Why were you still standing around anyway?" he shook his head. [break][break] "Oh do you know of any other sights worth seeing around here? I have a lot of time to kill and could use something more than simply wandering around the tower." He stared back at the crowd that had caused their predicament to begin with. "I get the feeling that one won't be an option today." [break][break] He didn't actually mind that too much, he wasn't interested in the large attractions as much as he was just seeing the place to begin with. He believed that getting familiar with the region he would be working in was to his advantage, knowing the terrain let one make better decisions in the field and seeing as he never planned on sitting back at the base and doing nothing. "Why were you still standing around anyway?"
"Took a trip down memory lane."
The response was under his breath, his head finally clearing of the thoughts from earlier. There were a few empty benches along the wall, and Eustace was priming himself to sit down and kick up his legs. Then the kid said something again, and the pain started to grow.
"Oh do you know of any other sights worth seeing around here? I have a lot of time to kill and could use something more than simply wandering around the tower." If Eustace were a simple civilian, he'd break out a map, point, and then explain that one location for an hour. If Eustace were a member of the Tower Staff, he'd do the same but offer directions in lightning fast sentences.
If Eustace were... No, he just chuckled and sat his ass down, wiping a smug smirk off his face and onto the floor below. "You're telling me you came all the way here- a desert region- without a damn tourist's welcome? You must be fluent in another language for something like that to happen.
And I'm the lucky bastard that understands ya!" Where the hell did that come from?
He was smiling, and it felt genuine. It was strange. When was the last time he felt like this? His mind was too focused on the mapping of today; his body leaned forward and his hands rubbing themselves together.
The kid said something else before he cracked one, but it didn't stand out. "Well, around here there ain't much. Realgam's just a big old umbrella in the sand, or so the folks elsewhere call it.
Nah, if you wanna see something more, your best bet is way up north at Mt Battle or West at Pyrite Town. Hell, any direction will take you someplace worthwhile.
Realgam is nothing but history and glitz, and that's about it. A real landmark she is, dressed up in silver and... covered in blood..."
