He made his way over and the Beldum fished out another ball. This one a Dive Ball. Alastair put it in his backpack and gave Leap a look. The Beldum was good at finding items it seemed. Well...
"Thank you, Leap, this will come in handy," Alastair said. Leap gave a happy cheer and following Alastair into the place they would eat. Almost immediately Alastair was seated, and he was even offered another chair for his hurt leg. He declined and looked at the menu, already ordering some food for Leap and his other Pokemon. For the others, though, they wanted those to go. They would be hungry later during the day. He could tell. When the waiter asked what he wanted, Alastair ordered something simple. Just a salad with some fruit mixed in and some vegetables on the side.

While he did this, Leap wandered around the restaurant, staying in sight. Many Pokemon were wandering around, but they were all groomed and polished. Alastair realized he was probably the odd one out here, but he was minding his own business. Leap stuck out even more. His metallic body was kept clean and free of rust, but it was covered in small scratches from the few battles he had. The Beldum looked rough. Yet that didn't stop the Beldum from messing around in some of the plants the restaurant had in the middle of the place. After a few moments, the Beldum came back with a TM on his head. Alastair took it and checked for the number. "88," he said. "I'll look it up later. Nice job." The Beldum eventually decided to hide under Alastair's chair. After about five minutes, the Pokemon began to wander again, this time going under other tables and chairs in search of something else for Alastair. The Beldum was intent on finding things for the human, as a way to show that there were no hard feelings of the capture. Alastair was not a bad human. Just strange. Leap had the feeling that Alastair didn't like him very much, so the best way to fix that was with presents! Speaking of which, the Metal Coat attached itself to Leap's body. The Beldum went back to Alastair for assistance in removing the item, making a sniffing noise. Alastair put down his fork and carefully pried the Metal Coat off, putting it in his bag. "Be careful around metal stuff, Leap," Alastair said, patting the Beldum's head. "We don't want you getting stuck." Leap made a noise of agreement and went back under the chair, closing his eye to take a nap. -- Battle Recap:Battled Level ? here! Leap followed loyally behind, floating in silence. He got distracted half way to where they were going and then floated off. Alastair stopped and gave a sigh, his leg throbbing in pain. He should have taken some more of the pain meds before walking anywhere but oh well... Alastair sat down while Leap exploring the fountain area, bringing a stone over to Alastair. It was wet and felt cold to the touch. It was a water stone. Alastair put it in his bag and leaned his head back against the wall. Leap gave a soft cry and laid on Alastair's lap, the man flinching at the weight of the Pokemon. He patted Leap's head. Oh well. -- Battle Recap:Battled Level ? here! How long had Alastair been out? He sat up, hissing at the pain in his leg. It was throbbing. Well... he supposed it wasn't uncommon for people to pass out around here, considering how much shopping there was to be done... He took the stone and tossed it in his bag, standing up. "Let's go back to the room," he said, "I need a nap." He began to limp back towards the elevator, Leap following silently. The Beldum knew they were going to be here for a while. As soon as the human's leg was better, they would probably explore more. There were so many interesting places to go into. It would take time though. Leap was fine with that. There were so many treasures here. So many things to find. Alastair tapped the elevator button and leaned his head back, breathing out thinly. He was sure his leg was bleeding again. He would have to wrap it back up. Leap butted his shoulder gently. Alastair couldn't help but smile. "I'm alright, buddy," he said. "Just tired." The elevator door opened and Alastair limped inside, Leap right beside him. He jabbed the eleventh floor button and the doors closed. So close to sleep... -- Battle Recap:Battled Level ? here!
