Alastair smiled and scooped it up, putting it on his belt. He would take the Pokemon out later. He already had a name in mind Just watching her fight... the bird had a lot of discipline for a wild Pokemon. So, the name would be Baroque. Leap seemed happy with his success and he followed Alastair to the shop. The Beldum floated around the shoe store while Alastair tried to find good riding boots. While he was wondering, the Beldum found a small sack. He carefully rolled it onto his head and took it back to Alastair. "What's this then?" he asked, taking the sack. Alastair opened it and sniffed the contents, sneezing after. "Ew, Energy Powder... well... I suppose if we are in an emergency it will come in handy." A nice looking cat. But a cat. It looked... weird. Alastair didn't hesitate. He knew he had to catch it. He was holding a shopping bag with his new boots in it and sent Leap after the cat,m and thus started the Take Down battle mixed in with a few attacks from the lion. The cat tried to use Leer, but it failed, and then tried a Headbutt, missing. Leap tackled the cat once more and sent it flying. The feline wasn't even close to being as weak as Alastair got Baroque down, but it had taken a fair amount of damage, enough to make the animal more cautious. Al got out a pokeball and threw it, hoping the cat was injured enough for the capture. -- Battle Recap:Battled Level 13 Litleo! Alastair was one of the people that figured if something was on sale he would consider buying it because you never know when you would need that spatula with amazing flipping action. However, this was not about a spatula. It was about jackets and pants and shirt and socks. Basically the things he wore out faster than someone could say his name. He took care of his clothes, he even patched them up pretty well, but sometimes he just had to get something new. He was looking through the clothes and the prices and doing mental gymnastics with math while Leap wandered around. Eventually, the Beldum came back with a, low and behold, item on his head. Alastair took it and tapped the Beldum smartly, but gently. "Nice job." he looked at the TM. "We might be able to use this for something." Leap made a happy noise. He was doing good. Yes. Alastair blinked and then put the TM away, then sprayed the Beldum with another Potion. "That's the last one, buddy," he said. "Don't want you getting sick. Try to pull through for a few more battles though, alright?" Leap nodded. Oh, he would. -- Battle Recap:Battled Level ? here! Alastair had heard of people losing items here, so if the item was lost then it wasn't theft, right? Oh well. This was his Dawn Stone now. Now... which jacket did he want? He had been standing here for ten minutes debating on if he should treat himself to the nice leather jackets or if he should go for a cheap one. He would like something like his usual traveling jacket but it was an old model... oh the choices... He eventually decided to go with both. What the hell? No matter how hard she tried, the human just wasn't noticing her. He was far too busy trying not to fall over in a dressing room. His efforts were in vein as he face-planted into the mirror and gave a quiet sob of pain. Leap was guarding the dressing room door, being the self-proclaimed protector of the accident-prone human. The Duskull tried to get Leap's attention but the Pokemon ignored her.
