Alastair frowned. "You have to get a permit?" he groaned. The sign said it perfectly clear. Any Pokemon that would go into the water needs a pass to mark them as children-friendly. Alastair was pretty sure that Tuesday was child-friendly. August on the other hand... he looked over at her. Some children have approached him a while ago to ask for a ride. He said they shouldn't attempt. Yet one kid was. Now he was crying to his mom about being burned. Thankfully, Alastair wasn't being chastised given the other kids were proper children. They did't lie. "Come on, August," he said as he tapped her neck. "Let's go get a permit."
August trotted after him to the guest building. Alastair went in, August still after him, and began to talk to the lady at the desk. As Alastair spoke with the lady, August walked around the building. She sniffed plants, furniture, and a strange pokey thingy. She picked the item up in her mouth and returned to Alastair with it. She nudged him until he looked at her.
"Oh? Thanks," he took the item and tossed it into his bag with the rest of them. Arceus, his bag was getting heavy.
